Place by place
Your photos grouped on a map. Tap a spot and review just what you shot there.
Photos from past years come back every day. Along the way, swipe right to keep, left to let go and up to mark a favourite. Nothing is deleted until you say so.
How it works

Every day, On This Day brings back photos from this day in past years, playing like stories. And Explore lets you wander your library by month, in a calendar or on the map.

Every photo full screen. Right to keep, left to delete, up for favourite. Pinch to zoom and undo whenever you want.

FAQ
Yes. Criba is on Google Play for Android phones, with the same gestures, On This Day, the map, the calendar and on-device analysis. No accounts and no ads, just like on iPhone.
No. Swiping left only sends the photo to Criba's trash. Only when you tap “Delete” and accept the system confirmation do they move to Recently Deleted in Photos (iPhone) or the gallery's trash (Android), where they stay recoverable for 30 days.
No. Criba has no server and no accounts. The only things that leave the device are a photo's coordinates when you ask for a place name (Apple Maps on iPhone, Google on Android), the purchase receipt when you go Pro (Apple or Google, and RevenueCat), and anonymous usage statistics and crash reports, with nothing from your photos, which you can turn off in Settings (TelemetryDeck and Sentry). On Android, the map and the analysis also use Google services: the privacy policy has the details.
Yes. Criba uses the version already on your iPhone whenever it looks good, and only downloads a screen-sized copy from iCloud when needed (you'll see a progress ring); iOS frees it up when it needs the space. Deleting a photo removes it from iCloud too, just like the Photos app would. On Android, Criba works with the photos in your phone's gallery, and what you delete goes, after the system confirmation, to the gallery's trash, where it stays for 30 days.
Yes. With no signal, Criba shows what’s already on your phone, in good quality; on iPhone, without trying to download anything from iCloud. Once you’re back online, everything’s there again.
In a shared album, swiping left removes the photo from the album instead of deleting it, since it may not be yours.
On This Day, exploring your library and deleting are always free. There's a daily limit on reviewing photos; Criba Pro removes it with a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
